About

I am a self-employed artist who has spent the last 40 years working as a professional humourist, actor, writer, and director. I am both a DREAMER and a PRAGMATIST – an excellent combination I believe. I am the positive by-product of a public school education. I graduated from grade 13 – that’s my way of letting you know I grew up in Ontario! Despite my challenges with dyslexia I learned to navigate the school system and graduate with an Honours Degree in Performance Theatre (BFA) from York University. I am a lifelong learner and pride myself on consensus building, problem-solving, fact-finding, and critical thinking. I have an inherent skill in discovering patterns, often systemic repetitive historical patterns that are not obvious to all. I can analyze how those patterns either positively or negatively affect the challenge at hand. It is a skill that has proven valuable on the boards and committees on which I have served.
